What are we doing: Well there are a lot of great live bands and artists out their who are great live, you don't always get that from a recording, whilst others who sound great recorded, can disappoint live not really sounding anything like what you expect. Viewing a video, of a their live performance, is the nearest you're going to get, to real thing and helps you choose what you actually think you're going to enjoy more, because you know what you like.

You play a video and immediately get an idea, through sound and vision. This is an idea which has rattled around in my head for some time, I often threatend to a develop site which could help make searching for gigs easier. So I built the site to help me find live music playing near me. I wanted to be able to quickly hear what a band sounded like from a list of gigs in my area. So each listing on the front page has a play button, which plays a youtube video of the bands / musician. This is a very early stages, with a basic features to test the concept, see what people think and see if they like it and find it useful.

On any given night in London for example, there is always plenty of music to go and see, but how do you decide what to go an see if you fancy some live music, I'm spontaneous and I often feel like going to see some live music, be it in the next few days on the coming weekend, I need some tools to help that search. Having a video and then a further list of videos, gives you an immediate idea if you like live and then go and see them for the full live experience. You may have heard of the bands name, but you're not too sure what they are like live, the videos are more live focussed so you'll more a more informed idea of how they play live. Some promoters make an effort and use youtube and playlists of the bands playing to help bring an audience to a gig, this helps pursuade people, but it's a hunt to go to each different page every time.
